Job Title: .Net Test Engineer
Basic Criteria:
Qualification: B.Tech/BE/BCA/MCA
Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a .NET developer.
Key Skills: C# programming, NUnit/MSTest/xUnit, Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, Git, SQL, API testing, Performance testing, Security testing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for .NET-based applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts to ensure test coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on testing strategies and efforts.
- Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
- Document test results, defects, and issues encountered during testing.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Skills:
- Proficiency in C# programming language.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver or SpecFlow.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Ability to work with APIs and web services for integration testing.
- Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
